Norway’s women’s football team did the job against Slovakia, winning 4-0,and will be ready for the World Cup in France on Tuesday.

Lisa-Marie Utland scored three goals while Caroline Graham Hansen had three goalkeeping passes and was involved in all scores for a Norwegian team who proved completely superior to their opponents.

“It was a very well played match, especially the first half. We were very good in the attack game and aggressive. We bring a good performance and a good result home,’’ said the national team manager, Martin Sjögren to fotball.no.

Norway has participated in all seven previous World Cup finals and strives to keep apace of those statistics, but sees significantly tougher resistance in the group finals. The European champions, who last year beat Norway in two important matches, will come up against them.
