Five hours into overtime, agreement was reached in the mediation between the aircraft technicians’ organization and NHO Luftfart.

“We are pleased with the year’s wage settlements that have focused on night work and health,” said Andreas Sundt, head of the Norwegian Aerospace Organization (NFO), to NTB news.

He spoke of constructive negotiations.

“We have really reached agreement with the other parties. It is not the Riksmekler proposal, and we have negotiated ourselves into a good solution,” said Sundt, adding that there was clarity between the parties.

The announced possibility of a strike among airline technicians is over, and all members will meet at work as normal they reported.
