Places To Go

Fjord Travel..
From the heights of mountains to the depths of majestic fjords, from breathtaking scenery to dynamic urban centres, Fjord Norway is the country’s most diverse and spectacular region.

National Geographic Traveller voted the Norwegian fjords the best destination in the world. Whether you choose to explore from the comfort of a boat, by car, or on a hike, you’ll soon discover what the world is talking about.

The 200 km long Sognefjord is the spine of Fjord Norway, crossing three national parks and surrounded by hundreds of tiny picture-postcard settlements. The Hardangerfjord offers easy access to more national parks, tourist routes, waterfalls and glaciers and is ideally-placed for those visiting Bergen.

All of Fjord Norway’s destinations are a driver’s dream. The eight bridges of the Atlantic Road are world famous thanks to several car television adverts. The dramatic Storseisundet Bridge, dubbed the “Road to Nowhere” has to be experienced to be believed. The serpentine Trollstigen (The Troll’s Path) offers a different experience and a stunning view from the top.
