Soon you will be able to follow daily life at Avinor Oslo Airport in a new TV series. It will be called OSL 24-7 and premiers on Viasat 4 this coming spring.

The past autumn, daily life at Norway’s primary airport in Oslo has been documented. With more than 25 million passengers a year and around 15,000 employees, Oslo Airport is a true international hub.

“A lot is happening at Oslo Airport, far more than the passengers notice. Incredible teamwork is required to make everything run smoothly, and now we are looking forward to taking the viewers at home behind the scenes at the airport. We hope that this TV series will be of great interest, entertainment value and, last but not least, an insight into what it takes to run an airport 24/7, 365 days a year”, says managing director of Oslo Airport, Øyvind Hasaas.

Shown on Viasat 4 The upcoming series slated for next spring is called OSL 24-7 and will be shown on Viasat 4. The series will also be available on the streaming service Viafree. You will see travellers, ground crew, customs officers, snow plough crews, air traffic controllers, airport police, detection dogs and more.

“We are quite experienced in the field of so-called workplace reality, and Oslo Airport is an amazing place to film a documentary series. With 25 million passengers annually, this airport is familiar to most Norwegians”, says director of programming Andreas Bakka Hjertø at MTG TV.

“Avinor has been an excellent partner throughout this project and they have given us complete access to the employees and departments at the airport. We really appreciate this as it strengthens the content of the series.”

No premiere date has been decided yet, but it will be shown this spring.

“We are looking forward to the premiere, and we are confident that this series will enjoy success with the Norwegian audience”, concludes Bakka Hjertø.

Close cooperation is paramount  Mastiff Entertainment is producing OSL 24-7.

“Mastiff has been granted unique access to a thrilling domain, and we would not have been able to make this series without a close cooperation with Avinor”, says producer Marit Dahlviken Hagen.

“The aim of OSL 24-7 is to give the viewers an insight into daily life at the airport which they normally would not see, and we feel we have accomplished that. We would like to thank all the employees for their generosity in letting the TV crews join them at their workplace”, she concludes.
