An entire crowd of 99,000 people redeemed their ticket to see the exhibition Yayoi Kusama – I Uendeligheten at Henie Onstad Art Centre. The exhibition opened on 19 February 2016 and was lasted in total for 76 days.

It has been an adventure to work with Kusama. The public has shown great enthusiasm and we ended up with 99,000 visitors, a record for the Henie Onstad Art Centre, says Tone Hansen, director of the Henie Onstad Art Centre.

Staff at the art center are already fully in the process of packing the works down, before they proceed to Stockholm and Moderna Museet where the exhibition will open as the next stop on the tour.

The next large experience at HOK, Nikolai Astrup – Norsk landskap opens on June 10. This exhibition will be the largest presentation by Nikolai Astrup ever and consists of the works shown in London, supplemented with even more funding besides several entirely new production works by contemporary artists Book & Hedén, BA Huseby, Future Farmers with Martin Lundberg and Asa Sonjasdotter .
