Norway’s BI Tallies Prestigious Ranking

Financial Times 2018’s yearly compilation of the 65 best business schools in the world has included Norwegian Business School (BI) within the top 50 worldwide schools offering a master program in finance.

 

The Oslo-based BI Norwegian Business School ranked 48th overall; ranked 3rd best within the Nordic region behind Stockholm School of Economics (18th) and Lund University School of Economics (39th) leading.

WORLD LEADERS
Inge Jan Henjesand, Principal of BI Norwegian Business School commented upon Financial Times inclusion of BI within its list of the top master programs for finance, saying “This illustrates how well BI performs among of the world’s leaders in finance academia.’ –

“It highlights the impact of our academic environment and will be an important recruitment element as we search for the best researchers and students in the world,” said Principal Henjesand.

BEST IN THE WORLD
Four of the schools within Financial Time’s Top-Ten are within France, with École des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC Paris) topping as the best school in the world offering a master program in finance.

BI Norwegian Business School (Handelshøyskolen BI) is the largest business school in Norway and the second largest within all of Europe. BI has promoted about a quarter million graduates since 1983.

In 2009, BI was ranked by Eduniversal as the 35th most influential business school in the world.
