Several police students failed in pistol shooting

One of four police academy students passed on launching their pistol correctly in 2016. The new authorization sets higher demands on students in compare with those participating on last year police academy.

In 2015 coats one out of ten ten police students shoot approval on gunpoint. In 2016 the proportion rose to one in four, written Police Forum.

Before students can exit the service they need through shoot approval with pistol and machine gun.

Weapons approval has been changed for the 2016 cohort. Among other things, it is used less time per student and per exercise and the exercises are made more realistic. The exercises is also occurring over a shorter period than before, written in their website.

– I think basically that it is good that there is a requirement that students can handle the weapon. This shows that it takes practice to use police pistol, said Head of the Police Community Association of student teams, Fredrik Svendby Engen.

Police Academy admits that they have limited opportunity for training.
– The school has no separate ranges in Bodø and Oslo but students can practice unlimitedly the rehearsal weapons.

The school also urge them to join the gun club to take responsibility for their own learning, said Hilde Soerum at the Police Academy.

    It might be an idea to purchase Airsoft pistols/rifles to train at home, there are plenty of tools to train with even with out firing a pistol on a regular basis! NO EXCUSES! If any Police want to get information I have compiled them
