There will be new rule of absence in High Schools from next fall

From the next fall there will be more tightened rules for absence for students in high school. More than 10 percent undocumented absences in a subject as a general rule will mean no grade.

The Government introduces a ladder for the absence where more than 15 percent undocumented absence will result in absolute disappearance of passed grade.

The absence result between 10 and 15 percent will provide more illustration for the principal if students in certain cases still can get character or not.

-The new absence policies takes even higher limit which can requires very different and complex reasons why students are away from the school, “said by Isaksen Torbjørn Røe knowledge minister, who on Thursday presented the new rules.
