Oldest Norwegian has died

110-year-old Marie Antonette Andersen from Helgeland was Norway’s oldest person until Sunday. She passed away on Sunday night.

Her family has informed Brønnøysunds Avis.

Andersen turned 110 on September 29th, which was celebrated at the nursing home in Leirfjord with 30 family members present.

Andersen was born in 1909 at Tomma in Nesna municipality in Helgeland.
