It is still not possible to give a thumbs down for something on Facebook, but now you can both express anger, cry and express surprise by using the new emoticons that are launched.

In many cases it won’t seem right to press the “Like” button on posts on the social network, and now the social site has done something about it.
After first being tried out by facebook users in Ireland and Spain, the rest of the world will now also get an opportunity to bring a little nuance to their likes something on Facebook.
Besides the proverbial thumbs up  you can now spice up your comments with a heart, a bubbly icon, an emoticon of suprise, cry and and a emoticon of anger.
If you hover the mouse pointer over the “Like” button, the new options will pop up. On a mobile you have to keep your finger on the button.
