It is now clear what the Vita chain will look like next, 99 stores are to close down, and according to E24, about 400 jobs will disappear.

On Sunday evening, the new owner company Jotunfjell Partners announced that, together with the former management of Vita, it has decided which stores will continue in operation.

A total of over 600 jobs and 132 stores will be continued, and new owners will take over 24 of these.

“The remaining 99 stores have been told that they unfortunately cannot join. There is now cessation of sales. For some of these, franchisees are considering whether to continue as independent stores or as part of another chain. Jotunfjell Partners is positive and wants to facilitate this,” it says.

– “Monday, the next stage for the Vita chain starts, Vita has highly qualified and some of the best professionals in the industry, and together they are now starting work on regaining customer confidence,” says Thor Hauge, who will serve as general manager of the chain for the time being.
