50 employees will lose their jobs in Stjordal when Glen Dimplex Nordic moves their operations to Northern Ireland.

The preliminary date for production stoppage has been set to December 2017, NRK news reports.
This will result in a workforce reduction of over 50 years of work in Stjørdal.
“Management will, in the future, be working in close cooperation with unions to discuss how this can be done in the best possible way,” writes Steen W. Reves, CEO of Glen Dimplex Nordic, in a statement.
