5.440 employees who work within areas including the police, NAV, the ministries, tax authorities and the higher education sector will strike on Thursday if the mediation during the state settlement is not successful.

The mediation deadline expires at midnight on Thursday next week.
The confederations alert on Friday that the first phase will take out 5,560 employees if the parties do not reach agreement.

LO Stat will withdraw 3,191 members. In particular, the College of Oslo and Akershus, the Foreign Affairs department, NAV, and tax offices in Oslo and Mo i Rana will be affected.

Unio will withdraw 1,969 members, most being from the police and the higher education sector.
YS will pull 280 members during the first withdrawal, most being administrative staff in ministries, as well as employees of the Customs Administration.

The three organizations organize a total of about 100,000 state employees and warn that more members will be taken out on strike if the parties fail to reach agreement.
