Farmers dissatisfied with government’s agricultural policy

Half of the farmers believe that the government’s agricultural policy have had a negative effect on the financial situation of their farms , according to a survey initiated by the newspaper Nationen

Norwegian Farmers’ Union and Norwegian Farmers and Smallholders Union  will deliver their demands to the state in this year’s agricultural settlement on Monday. When asked how the policies of the government have affected the financial situation of their farms, almost half of the respondents replied that it had affected them negatively. This is revealed in a survey made by Sentio Research on behalf of the newspaper.
A total of 46 per cent of the respondents responded that the government’s agricultural policies have affected the financial situation of their farms negatively or very negatively. 42 percent said neither positively nor negatively.  7 percent replied positively or very positively, the rest responded that they do not know.
