The airline Norwegian bans usage of Samsung phone on its flights

While Civil Aviation Authority waiting for the decision that can prohibit usage of Note 7 on all flights in and out of Norway, Norwegian decided to tighten usage of this scandal phone.

– We have now decided to impose a ban on taking with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on board for all of our flights. Passengers will be informed of this via our website, social media and on board all flights before departure, said Norwegian press contact Astrid Mannion to E24.

Norwegian airlines have until now allowed phone but demanded that to be off and not charged during flight.

This has been communicated with the Civil Aviation Authority, which – unlike the US government – allowing Note 7 phones to taken on board or in checked baggage in and out of Norway.
