Housing prices in Oslo are quickly increasing and will rise by at least 25 percent during 2016 and 2017,  estate agent heads talking to Finansavisen predict.

– The trend we have seen in the Oslo region throughout spring has only intensified,  CEO Terje Halvorsen of DNB Property says.
He predicts a July 1 like never seen before and justifies this by strong price pressure and an imbalance in the market between supply and demand. He also thinks the prices will increase  sharply in the long term    .
– If we view this year and next year as a whole, I think the prices may increase about 25 to 30 percent, Halvorsen says.
He is supported by Grethe W. Meier, CEO of Privatmegleren. She believes there will be a price increase of at least 25 percent in the capital from the beginning of this year until the end of 2017.
– There is nothing to suggest that the current market will change in Oslo,  Meier says.
