Online shopping in the Nordic region increased by 15 percent from 2014 to 2015. Norwegians are the most eager customers and spend an average of 3.265 kroner per person per quarter.
If all the purchases made from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark are added together, a total worth of 151.4 billion kroner were spent on purchasing products on-line in 2015, according to the report E-commerce in the Nordics 2016, prepared by PostNord.
Norwegians make the most frequent purchases and spend the most per person. As many as 85 percent of the adult population are shopping online during the year and almost four out of ten online shop at least once a month. The biggest advantages of buying products online is that you can make purchases whenever you like, that the products are cheaper and that the selection is larger and better.
