Three engineers from Rogaland wants to sell Norwegian mountain air from   Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen ) through eBay.

“Pulpit Air” is the name of the firm the three engineers registered on 25 May this year. The company will sell 7.7 liter of bottled compressed air, spread over 160 user doses, to China,  the newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad writes.

– No one else has tried to sell Norwegian mountain air. Therefore, we wanted to give it a try. We have just started selling our products to tourist shops and we work towards selling them to Beijing, Benjamin Knupper, Chairman of Pulpit Air AS, says.

A Canadian company has already got rich from coming up with this idea and went from selling the first bottle for 99 cents to their current price of $ 160. The market for pure mountain air is big in China, so the Pulpit Air-gang is  optimistic.

– It started when we talked about air pollution, about the large number of people in the world  who die due to bad air. Many think  at first that this is a joke, but it is not. Norway has clean water, great scenery, salmon and the cleanest air, Knupper continues .
