The Historic Hotels in Norway so far this year grew by 30 percent – and the rest of the summer looks bright.

The Historical is a membership organization that consists of 53 hotels, 19 eateries and one boat.
– Across the country, from southern Norway to Svalbard, our member companies this year are experiencing a major growth in sales in the holiday and leisure market, says CEO Nils Henrik Geitle in The Historical to the paper Nationen. This increase comes in both the Norwegian and overseas market, with the greatest growth in the German market.

– We expect further growth for the remainder of the summer season, says Geitle.
The Historical had sales growth of 32 percent in 2015.
