Hauglie- proposes measures to refugees into jobs faster

Minister of Labour Anniken Hauglie will set aside money for efforts to get refugees into jobs quicker in Norway.

Among other things, a “fast track” program for people with sought-after skills.
In cooperation with immigration and integration minister Sylvi Listhaug, Hauglie proposes setting aside 23 million in next year’s budget, according tothe newspaper VG.

The proposal ministers are making will establish a “fast track”  program, getting refugees into the workplace when they have sought after expertise.

Those who have the best chance of getting a job, get faster into employment and if we combine work and job training with language training it speeds the process for them.

In addition, NAV provides vocational guidance in the asylum system, and they will be allowed to take high school in Norway, even people who have high school from home.
