Innovation Norway opens office in Dubai
In order to assist more Norwegian companies operating in the Middle East, Innovation Norway has opened an office in Dubai.
The office was opened on Sunday and has three employees.
About 150 Norwegian companies are currently represented in the United Arab Emirates, mainly within the maritime sector, oil and gas, seafood and the defence sector.
“These industries will continue to be important in the future. But we are seeing that more Norwegian companies are also looking at opportunities in aquaculture, renewable energy and water, to mention some areas, “says Per Christer Lund, Director of Innovation Norway in the Middle East.
He says the region represents very important export markets for Norway. The new office will cover Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Iran.
