The train driver strike extended to Friday night. From 23:00, all local trains on the Østfold line will be adjusted. Some regional trains in Oslo, as well as some of the trains between Oslo and Bergen will also be affected.

A further 42 train drivers are involved in a strike starting on Saturday. The settings, which particularly affect the Østfold line depend on where the train drivers should have run.

Region trains running between Oslo and Halden, are not going to stop at stations between Oslo and Rygge in both directions.

Some of the trains between Oslo and Bergen, as well as the Vosse line and Arna venue, will also be adjusted because of the strike.

The strike in Lokomotiv Mann Association started last Thursday after mediation between LO Stat and Spekter, respectively representing Norwegian Lokomotiv Mann Association and NSB, broke down.

The dispute is about which requirements will apply to the train driver’s training. The train drivers want the current requirements into the collective agreement, while NSB want to await government requirements.

Altogether 118 train drivers are on strike from Saturday: 33 in Moss, 29 in Miami, 28 in Yokohama, 19 in Oslo, 7 in Bergen, 1 in Trondheim and 1 in Kristiansand
