The pilots of German Lufthansa warned that Wednesday’s strike will continue for another day. The management is angry over what they believe is an escalation of the conflict.

It is the pilot’s 14th strike since wage negotiations broke down in April 2014. 876 aircraft are expected to stay put on Wednesday, ie every third airplane of Lufthansa.
Lufthansa expects 100,000 passengers to be affected by the strike on the first day.
The conflict is characterized by an implacable tone, and the message that the strike will last longer than the 24 hours the pilot organisation, Cockpit, had originally reported, is creating a strong reaction in the company’s management.
