Norway loses 140,000 days on strike every year

During last 24 years there has been a loss of 140,000 days annually on average due to strikes, according the, SSB, Statistic Norway.

Between 1992 and 2015 Statistics Norway, SSB, noted that about 3.5 million working days were lost due to labor disputes or strikes.

These included roughly 3.3 million working days lost in years with main settlements.
The years with the most days lost were in 1996 and 2010 when about half a million working days were lost in strikes each year.

On average they recorded eight lost workdays per worker conflict over the past 24 years, divided into 8.1 in the main settlements and 6.8 in between settlements.
