Technology giant, Apple’s payment service, ‘Apple Pay’, is available for customers in several banks in Norway from Wednesday.

Initially, payment services will be available in Norway for customers with accounts and Visa cards in Nordea Bank, Santander Bank and Sbanken (formerly Skandiabanken), said Norway’s chief executive at Visa, Jens Nes. Apple Pay will also be available to Nordea’s customers with Mastercards, said Inge Kjønnøy, Head of Mastercard Norway.

“We are pleased to offer Apple Pay to our customers, it is a very user-friendly solution. I’m sure this will make everyday life easier,” said Snorre Storset, Managing Director of Nordea Norway.

“If you buy coffee on the corner, pay for milk and bread at a checkout or buy the summer charcoal online, now, everyday payments can be made faster and easier with Apple Pay,” said Børge Liavik, Commercial Director in Santander, Norway.
