Norwegians debt unchanged

The last twelve months to the end ofJuly domestic debt grew by 5 percent, which is unchanged from the preceding twelve months.
Gross domestic debt was 5.055 billion at end-July, according to K2 figures from Statistics Norway.

Household debt amounted to 2.986 billion at the end of July. In twelve-months growth was 5.8 per cent by the end ofJuly, down from 6.0 percent the month before.

Local government gross domestic debt amounted to 447 billion at the end of July. Here the twelve-month rise was 5.1 per cent by the end ofJuly, down from 5.4 per cent at the end of June.

The credit indicator C2 included an important tool for Norges Bank base rate.
