Transocean – the world’s largest rig company – will cut at least 230 positions because of a shortage of orders.
In one year, the company’s Norwegian division more than halved, from 1,500 to 700, writes Stavanger Aftenblad.
– We have signed a protocol of downsizing. But no employees have been laid off yet, Steinar Nesse, Head of Safe-club in Transocean, says.
