Strongest growth in loans to employees in Sør-Trøndelag

Total loans from banks and mortgage companies to employees in Norwegian counties increased by 6.9 per cent in 2015 to NOK 2 310 billion. Sør-Trøndelag county had the strongest growth at 8.7 per cent.

At the end of 2015, loans from banks and mortgage companies to employees in Sør-Trøndelag county amounted to NOK 141 billion. This was an increase from NOK 130 billion the previous year.

Weakest growth in loans in Oppland county
In 2015, the growth in loans from banks and mortgage companies to employees was weakest in Oppland county, at 4.3 per cent. These loans amounted to NOK 62 billion by the end of the year, and made up a share of 2.7 per cent of the total loans to employees.

Largest share of loans in Oslo
Loans to Oslo county employees made up the largest share of the total loans to employees with 15.0 per cent. Loans from banks and mortgage companies to employees in Oslo amounted to NOK 346 billion at the end of 2015, up from NOK 321 billion in 2014. This corresponds to an annual growth of 7.8 per cent in 2015.
