A 22-year-old man is in custody for four weeks charged with having threatened the Royal family and Prime Minister Erna Solberg.

The man was supposed to have met in court Oslo District Court in January but ran off to Argentina just before the court was to handle the case.

Shortly after his return to Norway he was  arrested once more, according to the newspaper Aftenposten.

-One of the reasons that we remand him into custody is that we think there is a danger that he will evade punishment, ” Martin Bernsen, senior advisor at the police security service (PST), said.

According to the indictment,  the 22-year-old man threatened both Prime Minister Erna Solberg and Ministers in her Government. Members of the Royal family were threatened with murder, assault and bombs.
