43,000 unpaid annual fees for 2015

The Customs Administration sent  3.6 million claims on annual tax on motor vehicles last year. 43,000 of them still have not been paid.
Overall, there were 43 188 so-called open primary requirements at the beginning of February. Taken together, the unpaid bills amounts to NOK  84 million  the magazine Broom and newspapers’ news agency (ANB) writes.
The annual fee ensures that the state gets 9.6 billion in revenue.
The invoice for the annual fee for 2016 will be sent out during February. Due date is March 21 this year. For vehicles under 7.5 tons, the fee is 3135 NOK 3655 for cars with diesel engines without factory-fitted diesel particulate filter.  The feet for motorcycles is 1.920 kroner while  owners of veteran cars just have to pay  445 kroner.
If you pay to late, the extra fee is 250 NOK for cars and motorcycles.
