603 people deported from Norway in August

Police Immigration Service transported 603 people out of Norway in August. 201 of these were imposed one or more sanctions.

This is shown in monthly statistics from the National Police Immigration Service. Sanctioned constitute 33 percent of all the deportation in August.

So far to date 1368 sanctioned were transported out of Norway. Of these, 17 percent citizens had Romanian citizenship, 13 percent from Poland and 11 percent in Lithuania.

39 minors were deported in this year’s eighth month, two of whom were unaccompanied minors returned to the other Nordic countries.

Assisted return, formerly called voluntary return, are not discussed in the statistics.
