In March 2016, 7 persons were killed according to preliminary figures. In March 2015, the corresponding figure was 10.
The average for March over the last 10 years is 12 fatalities.
Of the fatalities last month, five were men and two were women. Four of the fatalities were car drivers, one was a car passenger, one was a pedestrian and one was an ‘other road user’.
