The Norwegian Meteorological Institute has issued caution warnings of freezing rain for eight counties. The forecasts apply to Vest-Agder, Aust-Agder, Telemark, Buskerud, Oslo, Akershus, Oppland and Hedmark.
‘On Sunday afternoon and early evening there may occur some rain locally that could freeze on the ground where it is still cold and there may also be freezing temperatures’ announced the Norwegian Meteorological Institute on their website.
Low lying areas a little inland from the coast, and further inland, are most at risk, the report said.
