Bhatti`s violence case sent back to the Court of Appeal

The Supreme Court has stated that the Court of Appeal must treat violence case against Arfan Bhatti once again. Thus, not judgment enforceable, reports online newspaper.

In January was Bhatti sentenced by Oslo District Court to 14 days in prison for violence against his wife. The Court of Appeal rejected later Bhatti appeal.

In early May, stated however the Supreme Court stated that the appellate court must look at the issue once again, because Bhatti believes a key evidence was collected illegally.

– The Supreme Court agreed that the Court of Appeal had failed to grasp the issue in the appeal whethe it was illegally obtained that a medical journal could be used by police, says Bhatti lawyer, John Christian Elden tothe online newspaper.
