Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has declared that the purchase & sale of marijuana will be legalized throughout Canada coming this October.

June 19th, Canada’s senate saw the legislative bill promoting the legalization of non-medical cannabis receiving 52 votes Yea & 29 Nay and thus passed into law.

ONLY 2 NATIONS
Canada now becomes the second nation, after Uruguay, that allows for legal sales of cannabis for non-medical use.

Prime Minister Trudeau told Canada’s National Assembly that he’s committed to protecting Canada’s youth and hopes that the new law will remove the cash flow helping to fuel Canada’s organized crime.

HOME-GROWN PLANTS
Canada’s new cannabis law allows anyone over the age of 18 to grow a total of four marijuana plants within their home for private use, as well as legalizing possession of up to a maximum of 30 grams of dried cannabis.

Canada’s provinces and regional authorities will now formulate guidelines to prepare for October’s retail marijuana trade.
