Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are in the final stages of the battle for the White House, and both now turn their attentions to the important swing state of Florida.
Winning here will probably be crucial to winning the presidential election, and Saturday, both presidential candidates will run an election campaign in the Sunshine State.
Trump enters the weekend with an election campaign meeting in Tampa, while Clinton will speak at an event in Pembroke Pines just north of Miami. From there on, there will be several other campaign meetings throughout Saturday and Sunday,
Trump will continue onto North Carolina and then Nevada, while Clinton is heading to Pennsylvania.
The rivals paint two completely different images of the United States.
Where Clinton speaks about hope and tries to show how well the country is doing, economically and otherwise, Trump does the best he can to demonize the situation and emphasize what he believes to be a corrupt state with an economy in free fall.
The polls that show Clinton as having a lead over Trump are steadily diminishing. Clinton’s lead is now at 1.8 percent, according to the average of the last nine polls, calculated by RealClearPolitics.
