Data Error paralyzed Oslo Metro

Errors in communication between the trains and the operating central paralyzed all the subway tracks in Oslo on Tuesday morning.
All the lines were affected and almost all the trains were stopped because of failures in the signal systems to Sporveien on Tuesday morning. Just before the main rush were to start, no trains were allowed pass the city center.
– The subway trains started up again at 7:22 and although it will be some time before we get the trains in schedule, the traffic will now pick up again, says pressevakt Cato Asperud in Sporveien said.
About 100,000 travel with Sporveien each morning.It is not known how many people were affected by the shutdown of the subway before it started again, .
Although traffic could start again, the original cause of the error still had not been found.
