Police have launched a murder investigation after the discovery of a dead man in the Southern area of Oppland.
– I can confirm that there has been a murder, said head of Communications Kari-Ann Dobloug to NRK news.
The police requested assistance from Kripos who has worked with local police on the investigation since Sunday night.
The police were notified Saturday at 7:30pm that a person was found dead in a wooded area near thevFluberg bridge on the west side of Randsfjorden. His body was found with terrible injuries and burns, wrote Oppland Arbeiderblad on Sunday.
