Eleven years in prison for importing over 70 kilograms of amphetamines and cocaine

A 48 years old man is in Court of Appeal sentenced to prison for eleven years and nine months for importing a large amounts of drugs.

The man helped importing a significant amounts of drugs from the Netherlands in September 2013. These include the total import of 70.6 kg of amphetamines and cocaine.

The value of the drug portion is estimated to 47 million kroner.

In addition, he brought 94 kg hashish / marijuana and 26.260 tablets containing diazepam and 29.480 tablets containing diazepam and nitrazepan.

The man is also convicted for fraud by a total of 982.757 kroner, as well as violation of the Firearms Act by having two guns without a firearms license.

48 years old was in the Court of Appeal sentenced to 13 years in prison in May this year, but sentencing was repealed by the Supreme Court.

Now the Court of Appeal sentenced the man to eleven years and nine months in prison.

The man confessed to the introduction of drug party and receiving stolen goods.

He has previously been convicted for, among other crimes, violation of the Customs Act.

– Many aspects of performance during the process has a professional touch.

Decision made by Court of Appeal is based on planning these activities over time and importing drugs which were brought in from several suppliers while other aspects of his crime was characterized by a lack of professionalism.

    He is so lucky he was not in Indonesia. He would have faced the firing squad. His sentence is paltry. His victims sentence is addiction from his drugs.
