On Skaugum on Monday Vålerenga United and Team Skaugum met in cooperation with the Norwegian Football for a friendly match of kickabout.
For the third year in a row the Crown Prince couple and the Norwegian Football Association invited to a friendly match outside the Crown property in Asker. The courtyard was renamed Skaugum Stadium for the occasion.
Team Skaugum consisted of the Crown family with reinforcements. The team included several profiles, like West Ham player Martin Samuelsen and Wolfsburg’s Caroline Graham Hansen.
The guest team, Vålerenga United, walked off with a narrow 5-4 victory. The team is a so-called unified team, a football team specially adapted for people who are handicapped, disabled and / or who have challenges with social adaptation. The game was commented by Arne Scheie this year as well.
