The Insurance companies put together have received over 600 reports of damage after the ravages of the extreme weather “Tor”.
If has so far received 200 reports damage . Most of them are from Sunnmøre.
– We expect this number to double, but it will be some days before we will receive the rest of the damage reports, the company said.
The number of injuries are far less than have been expected.
On Saturday Gjensidige had received about 300 claims while Tryg Forsikring has received around 100.
The extreme weather affected a total of nine counties Friday and early Saturday. Most of the damages are structural damage but on several sites boats have sunk and cars and caravans have been hit by roof panels, roof tiles and other loose items
