There is a risk of lightning and thunderstorms in western Norway on Thursday. Meteorologists reported on Thursday morning that a heavy thunderstorm is on the way.
– The radar shows observations of a crazy thunderstorm in the North Sea in the night. It is moving slowly toward land, wrote meteorologists on Twitter. The radar shows a large area that is filled with lightning in the sea between the United Kingdom, Denmark and Norway.
Thunder showers could cause up to 20-30 millimeters of rain. Several sites are exposed to this risk, according to the Meteorological Institute. The showers are expected to be at their strongest at around 4pm on Thursday.
