King Harald has not met Princess Märtha Louise’s new boyfriend Durek Verrett (44), but says it is nice that her daughter has found herself a boyfriend.
The king met the press on Tuesday when he was to inspect the king’s ship.
“It’s nice that she has found herself a boyfriend,” said the king to the attending journalists.
He says he has not met the shaman Durek Verrett, but when asked the question: if he is looking forward to meeting him, the king answers:
Yes, we can believe that.
This is the first time the King has expressed his views on the relationship between Princess Märtha Louise and the three year younger Durek Verrett. Sunday it was published that the two are now a couple.
When Verrett landed at Gardermoen just before 13.30 on Tuesday, he admitted that he had not yet met the royal couple. He did not want to answer whether he would meet the royal family during his stay in Norway, but revealed that he would celebrate May 17 in Oslo with the princess.
