Kripos is now connected to a case involving an eight-year-old boy who was sexually assaulted in Solbergelva in Nedre Eiker in Buskerud on Thursday afternoon.

“This is a serious matter. The case has the highest priority, and there are many who are working the case. Therefore, we have also asked Kripos for assistance in the tactical investigation,” said police adviser Hedda Obstfelder in the Southeast Police District in a press release.

The boy was assaulted while on his way home from school. The police were notified of the case just before 14:00 on Thursday. The scene was quickly secured and investigations were carried out by forensics and sniffer dogs.

The police conducted several conversations with students from the schools in the area, over the weekend. So far, they stand without suspects.

“We are working to figure out a picture of what has happened and we are collecting as much information as possible. We will continue this investigation through out the week. There is currently no suspect or arrest in the case, “said Obstfelder.

Police say they are still interested in tips.
