Increased support for the Labour party in new poll

The Labour party has a support of 35.3 percent in a new poll, an increase of 3.9 percentage points. The greatest increase in support is in Western Norway.

The poll has been made by Norfakta for the newspapers Nationen and  Klassekampen.
The unemployment triggered by the oil crisis, leads voters to flock to ‘ the safe Labor party “,  election researcher Frank Aarebrot says, according to Nationen.
– The parties on the right  have “owned”  the issue of tax cuts, while Labor has “owned” the issue of combatting  unemployment,  Aarebrot, a professor of comparative politics at the University of Bergen, says.
Labor leader Jonas Gahr Støre also place a particular emphasis on unemployment in  when he is asked to explain the increased support.
–  The government has a passive approach to combatting unemployment is passive, while we have a targeted and foused approach,  Støre says. The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Anniken Hauglie (Conservative Party) denies the accusations from Støre.
– The Government has a proactive approach to the challenges we face. Our budgets are expansive and contribute to increased economic activity and more jobs.
Right has a support of 24.5 percent of the poll, a decline of 0.8 percentage points, while the Progress Party gets 16.0 per cent (-0.9). For the other parties, the results are as follows: Red 1.5 (-0.7), SV: 2.6 (-1.1), SP: 5.4 (-1), V: 5.6 (+ 0.5), KrF: 5.1 (+0.5), MDG: 3.4 (0.3).
