31 percent of those surveyed in a new poll says Sylvi Listhaug doing a good job as immigration minister. She is clearly the best-liked among the Progress Party ministers.
Listhaugs popularity has soared since the transition from agriculture minister to immigration and integration minister, according to a poll Ipsos MMI conducted for Dagbladet. In June last year responded only 21 percent said she did a good job.
In the new poll 28 percent replied that they think Listhaug doing a poor job, while 33 percent thinks she is doing an average job. The remaining 8 percent answers “do not know”.
With 31 percent responding that immigration minister doing a good job, she is far ahead of the fMinister of finance and Progress Party leader Siv Jensen and the Minister  of  Health Bent Høie. They receive  26 and 24 percent respectively on the same question.
At the same time, a smaller amount of people believe Jensen and Høie are doing a poor job than the ones who believe Listhaug is doing a poor job. 24 and 15 percent are disappointed finance minister and health minister efforts respectively.
The results of the poll correspond to a survey made by VG earlier this month. In that poll 36 percent said they had either “high” or “very high” confidence in Listhaug, an increase of 13 percentage points from her time as the  Minister of Agriculture.
