A man in the mid-30s living in Asker must present himself before Oslo district court for a total of 32 cases of fraud. He shall have sold items online without delivering the goods.

The trial will begin in Oslo district court on Tuesday and last a week.

Most of the frauds occurred from addresses in the capital. The man posted items for sale via Facebook, Finn.no and Shpock during January 2016 through February 2018. According to the indictment, he received payment, but “with no intention of delivering the goods.”

In a number of the cases they were phones or computer equipment, but he should also have announced baby and children’s clothes. He often used a false name and declared himself a woman, such as “Linnea Marie”, “Linda Marie”, “Renate” or “Line”.
