Man charged with assaulting 42 Norwegian and 20 Filipino children

A 66-year-old man is accused of assaulting 42 Norwegian girls and 20 Filipino children.

Police have investigated the case against the man, who is a resident in Bergen since last summer. He is accused of assaulting over sixty children in the Philippines and Norway, NRK news wrote.

In the indictment the prosecutor states that the man from Hordaland made live abuse movies of children in the Philippines and he produced them calling them “show-movies” of the abuses.
According to the indictment he made about 42 recordings of Skype transmissions with a duration of almost 18 hours, and 199 films made with mobile phones.

The man is also accused of having sent indecent images and movies of young boys to young Norwegian girls. In all, 42 Norwegian girls are mentioned in the indictment. Some of them he tricked into undressing, and all received films of boys in sexual activity.

The man was sentenced to 10 months imprisonment in 2013 for being in possession of about 100,000 images and over 700 movies with serious sexual offenses against children. The man served only five months in prison.
The defendant’s lawyer, Gisle Didriksen, said to NRK that he acknowledges partial guilt referring to the part concerning the Norwegian children.
