A paraglider pilot is taken to hospital after being injured when he landed “too fast and too hard” in Lindås, according Hordaland police.

The man is brought to Haukeland University Hospital by air ambulance after the accident at Vågseidet Lindås.

The extent of damage is unknown to police, said operations manager Bjarte Rebnord on Monday night.

– The man said to have come in to land too fast and too hard and then he fell backwards down a cliff. The fire department had to climb a bit to get him down to the air ambulance, said Rebnord to NTB.

The fire department has described the man’s condition as bruised, according Rebnord.
