A 29-year-old man has been convicted and sentenced to 16 years imprisonment for the murder at Ammerud in Oslo in April 2016 by the Borgarting Court of Appeal.
The 29-year-old is convicted of premeditated murder and dismemberment of the body. A 30-year-old woman is also convicted as an accomplice in the dismemberment and sentenced to one year and seven months in prison. One year and two months of the sentence are made conditional on a probationary period of two years.
Previously, another 28-year-old man has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for the same murder.
The two men are convicted of killing Dan Johnny Myhre (35) with a number of cuts, punches and stabs to the head and upper body in an apartment at Ammerud in Oslo on 27 April 2016. The 35-year-old died of blood loss and breathing difficulties.
After the murder Myhre’s body was cut into 25 parts. The body parts were wrapped in plastic bags and duffel bags and a suitcase, and were then transported out of the apartment. The murder was discovered at 07:00 the morning of April 29, 2016, after passers-by had responded to the behavior of the accused men who were pulling a heavy suitcase.
All those involved are addicts and part of the drug community, and they allegedly were very intoxicated when the murder was committed.
The two convicted men must also pay a compensation of NOK 300,000 to the murdered man’s mother.
